Shanghai International Fashion Culture Festival is one of the Four Festivals in Shanghai (the other three is Shanghai Art Festival, Shanghai Tour Festival and Shanghai Movie and Television Festival), which has been organized by Shanghai Municipal Government in 1995.
Shanghai International Fashion Culture Festival offers a platform for Shanghai and even for the textile & fashion industry of China to improve comprehension and to promote the communication and cooperation with the world. The objective of festival is to communicate, to boost Shanghai as fashion capital of Asia and to build up the global leadership in fashion industry.
Since the lately 16 years, myriad textiles, fashion brands, enterprises of China and foreign countries have attended the commercial campaigns. Numerous buyers all over the world have been attracted and do their business through this festival. Hundreds international well known fashion designers have been invited to issue the fashion trends and to communicate as well as to show their works; more than 300 fashion showcases, which have great influence in China and other countries have been taken.
There are hundreds of media, websites, magazines have attended and reported the festival every year. More than hundred million audiences have known and watched Shanghai International Fashion Culture Festival through satellite transmission, broadcasts, web, mobile televisions, mobile short messages and newspapers.
