This is the gathering event for outstanding architects. Furthermore, this event ambitions at becoming a source of inspiration for the eco-trend in construction. Shanghai International Architecture Festival is the world's first eco-themed architects gala. It builds a high-end platform for networking and exchanges in China, a hot spot for international architects. Shanghai International Architecture Festival is the Cannes Festival for the construction industry. It will also pay tribute to each outstanding eco-architect that has contributed to ecological buildings design.

The International Forum of Shanghai International Architecture Festival will invite three internationally renowned master architects, together with ten international and Chinese outstanding architects, to deliver lectures and answer participants' questions. An exhibition area will also feature the masters' signature designs within the premises of the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Finally the masters will also serve as judges for the Festival Awards.

The Architecture Festival Section will also include a "A20 committee" made up of 20 important domestic architects design firms. A dedicated display area will display these local firms cutting-edge design concepts and ecological aesthetics ideas, covering themes such as urban complexes, commercial space, Oriental gardens among others.

Dozens of architecture salons, themed round tables, and various exchanges between real estate developers and architects will be held throughout the Festival.
